President, Nigerian Community Association in Queensland.
Blessing is the President of the Nigerian Community Association in Queensland (NCAQ). As President, he chairs the Executive Committee that oversees the affairs of the Nigerian Community Association that brings together and support thousands of its members across the state of Queensland. He was the Association’s secretary for seven years, and before that was the Assistant Secretary-General of the Association.

He is also a leader within the Queensland African Community Council and was a member of the Advisory Board of the Council. He has served on the Constitutional Committee and Electoral committee amongst other Queensland African Community Council committees.

Blessing is a highly motivated community leader and legal professional who combines a comprehensive combination of legal, Business development, project, and commercial experience across private and public sectors and extensive community engagement services and experience.

He is admitted as a Solicitor in two common law jurisdictions (the Supreme Court of Queensland, Australia and the Supreme Court of Nigeria, West Africa), with local and international experience and qualifications across several areas of law and business.

Blessing worked as a Solicitor in a Specialised Law Firm, as a legal officer/ In-House Solicitor for a leading Commercial Bank and several stints within government institutions in Queensland.

He is well equipped with a high-level practical understanding of several legal and business issues, constraints, risks, and opportunities within various transactional sectors supported by his strong decision-making ability, which he brings to bear in leading his community.

Blessing can understand the community and business needs quickly, collaborate and look at issues holistically to provide advice that supports his community and the Australian community as a whole. With a proven ability to successfully operate across various sectors and industries, he offers the necessary skills to deliverable and objective outcomes.

He is a member of the Queensland Law Society (QLS), the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Queensland African Communities Council, and Australia-Africa Business Council. Blessing seats on the Board of several private and not-for-profit organisations in Australia and overseas
