Dr David Onu is the incumbent President of the Nigeria Community in Tasmania Incorporated (NigeriaTas). He aspires for NigeriaTas to become a harmonious organisation catering to the welfare of its members.
He is energetically collaborating with the leadership of other Nigerian and African organisations across Australia to advance the course of cultural diversity.
He also holds other community leadership positions including: Vice Secretary and Public Officer of the African Community Council of Tasmania (ACCT); board member of the Community Languages Tasmania (CLT); and board member of the Council of Nigerian Associations Presidents in Australia (CoNAPA), the apex leadership forum for all Nigerians resident across Australian States and Territories.
